China Diner Restaurant

The China Diner situated in Beaconsfield New Town provides quality food for eat in and takeaway. This restaurant remains exclusively independent and continues to serve the very best Szechuan and Pekinese food in its stylish surroundings.

We always strive to bring innovative but genuine Chinese food to your table. This is the long tradition of Eric and Pui’s family. Pui's father George Li, who founded the China Diner on the 30th June 1978, was in at the very beginnings of Pekinese cooking in the UK with the Golden Duck in the late 1960’s. His pursuit of excellence is still the goal of the China Diner in Beaconsfield and it is no accident that this fine and independent restaurant has succeeded for 30 years.

We welcome you to come and visit our restaurant and experience the delights of our Chinese cuisine.

Steeped in tradition, we welcome you with warmth and hospitality. We invite you to come and join us whether it be for a luncheon, evening meal or special occasion. We have a varied A La Carte menu and special set menus to suit all tastes.

"The décor is welcoming and comfortable without trying to be an Oriental museum – and the kitchen produces dishes like Ferrari produce performance cars; but with much more attention to affordability!"
Adrian Caddy – HC Magazine Food and Drink Review May/June 2008

"Wow! What a great party that was! Thank you so much for making it a success. All the China Diner team were just superb... I really think everyone will remember the party, we certainly will."
Frances and Tony Alexander comment on a 70th birthday celebration

"We've eaten Chinese food in Shanghai, Hong Kong, New York, San Francisco, London and many other great cities, but the China Diner is still our favourite Chinese Restaurant over 30 years since it first opened."
